How to set up HTTP and SOCKS5 proxies in Kameleo

In Kameleo, set the profile proxy to HTTP or SOCKS5, enter the GetIPProxy host, port, username, and password, and use Test Proxy before opening the profile.

    Find the matching proxy details in My Proxies

    Sign in to Dashboard → My Proxies. Find the proxy you want to use and click Switch format under Proxy parameters to view its HTTP or SOCKS5 connection details. Note the connection address, port, username, password, and the IP address for the final check. Use your own values, not the masked example below.

    Use the connection address and port for the protocol selected in the browser. Keep the IP address shown in My Proxies to compare with the browser’s exit IP after setup.

    Keep proxy credentials private. Do not share a screenshot with your real username or password.

    Open the profile proxy settings

    Create or edit the profile you will use and open Proxy.

    Select HTTP or SOCKS5

    Select HTTP or SOCKS5 as the proxy type to match Dashboard.

    Fill the proxy fields

    Enter the address in Host, port in Port, and username and password in their own fields.

    Test the proxy

    Click Test Proxy. If it fails, first check the details; Kameleo also notes that its test sites might be unreachable through the proxy.

    Save and start the profile

    Save the proxy settings and start this same profile.

    Verify the exit IP

    Check the exit IP in the profile and compare it with My Proxies.

    In the profile you just opened, enter this address to see its public IP: api.ipify.org

Troubleshooting

If Test Proxy fails, check the connection details first. Kameleo also says the test can fail when none of its test websites are reachable through the proxy.
